Sail Boat Trailer

Greeting to all sailors;

As most of you know, I have purchased a sailboat trailer capable of handling sail boats up to 38 feet long, spade or wing keel depth of up to 7 feet, and weight up to 16,000 lbs.

If you would like to be able to use this trailer for pulling your boat or transporting your boat, I will rent the trailer to you for $500 per week, or $100 per day…

OR

you can buy in to a modified time-share usage type of deal — The buy in would be $1000, with $500 refunded if or when you decide that you no longer would have use of this trailer. You would get up to four (4) weeks per year usage in exchange for your participation.  There is no subrogating or subleasing your interest, meaning it is for the exclusive use by the participant with boats he/she personally owns – you can’t lend or give your usage to someone else.  I think most people would believe it was a better deal to buy in rather than renting for a week.

The trailer has $500 deductible insurance policy in it, and insures myself – meaning that your boat would not be covered by my policy and so you must be sure to have an active insurance policy on your boat.

There are really only six months in the year that you can really work on your boat when on the hard, so i think I will have to limit the participants to six persons.

I am planning to purchase an additional pair of adjustable pads so that there will be five pads per side.

If you are interested, please contact me…  If you buy in, and find out that for some reason the trailer will not work to pull your boat out of the water, you will get a full refund of the entire amount paid.
