Commodore Challenge Middaughs Sept 20, 2012

Jim, Billie & I sailed the Middaugh Challenge this afternoon.  We had a beam reach to the Island with 8-9 NW winds.  Near the North side of the Island the winds came from the West.  At the East end of the Island there was little wind but we made it around the East end and had to tack twice heading back toward the dock on the South side of the Island.  Once West of the Island, the Winds shifted to the NW at about 8 kts.  We had a close haul back to the buoy line, but had to tack twice to get into the harbor.  We had good time, one hour, one minute & eleven seconds.
