Team Race Using Lasers on Sept 21 at 9AM

We are planning a Team Race with the Lasers on Sunday, September 21 at 9AM.  Hopefully we will have better winds than in the last Laser race.  The format will be as following:  if we have twelve racers, we will select the six with the most experience as team leaders.  The teams leaders will then draw their team mate from the remaining six.  In the first race the first two teams start, the team with the lowest accumulative points will win the race and move to the next level.  If there is a tie, for example both teams ending up with five points, a 1st and a 4th for a total of five points for team 1, and a 2nd and a 3rd for team 2, both will have five points.  The winner with the first place will break the tie.

The event is open to Youth 13 and up, Ladies and Men.  We will using the 4.7 small sails.  There will be a $5.00 registration fee to cover any equipment breakage.  The Laser owners will not be charged.  If we don’t have any equipment breakage the money will go to the Kid’s Camp fund.
